Taking on a range of painful and deeply human subjects, Lena Glücksman Nilsson’s work is raw, angry and suffused with dark warm humour. Lena creates images, situations and visual scenarios in her writing that seduce and confront in equal measure.
Black Soil Choir ; is the platform for her expression with letters on paper, words and text. It’s a play room for thoughts, imagination, fantasy and fiction.

Transgender movements research with electronic metal rock sounds.
An interdisiplinary piece by Lena Glücksman Nilsson (performer) and Milan Mes (musician). A reseach in poses on stage; pending between the male and female, stereotypical poses. Playing in the frame of an concpt of a band on stage, where the audience plays a role as audience, they will be confronted of the uncertainty, since this band is an idea, it plays with the predictable and unpredictable.

During Sail 2015 in Amsterdam, there was interactive performances and living costumes on the Azart ship aka Ship of Fools. A theater boat that travels around Europe from time to time, and returns to the heart of Amsterdam inbetween.
